That is what this blog is about, trying to find some meaning in the suffering.

If you have had a child who has been physically, sexually or emotionally abused, you are going to have to find some meaning in the suffering. If you suspect something has happened to them, the odds are that it did.  I made that journey, and am still making it. In my search for meaning, I have come across 4 types of parents who find themselves involved in parenting classes for those abused children.

First there is the “I hate school” parent who has absolutely on idea what is going on because they are just along for the ride. Someone told them to be in the class, so they show up. They never liked school, and this is too much like a class, so…
