Why am I a feminist?
A few weeks ago, I went on a date with a man (lets call him Adam) who tried to, unsuccessfully, impress me with his VIP status. I was not impressed.
While we were having dinner, Adam wanted to convince me that I should drop my proud feminist label. Hell no! I believe labels can be damaging and are adhered to stereotypes. However, calling myself a feminist is something that I do on purpose. I consciously choose to call myself a Feminist, even though it seems it has a really bad reputation.
Feminism is a lifestyle.
