Earlier this week the Good Wife-watching universe split itself into two camps. One on side were very passionate, possibly obsessive fans who felt something looked off in the final scene between Alicia and Kalinda, and attributed it to a split screen shot necessitated by longstanding bad blood between the actresses, Julianna Marguilies and Archie Panjabi. (The Washington Post has a good history of the feud.) On the other side were people who thought that first group was a bunch of nutty conspiracy theorists.
Well, break out your tinfoil hats, people. We appear to have split screen confirmation from TV Line.
Margulies and Panjabi did not shoot that scene together, I have come to learn. Body doubles were employed for the single shots, and the two-shot was spliced together in post-production.
