Some members of Congress will be fundraising at an upcoming Taylor Swift concert, because there is no better place to discuss policy than at a Taylor Swift concert.

For only a few thousand dollars, Taylor Swift fans can see her show at Nationals Stadium in Washington D.C. and sit next to a member of Congress, presumably to discuss education reform and the estate tax between “You Belong With Me” and “Blank Space”:

At least four lawmakers have planned fundraisers at her upcoming concert, according to two invitations obtained by the Loop and two by The Sunlight Foundation. For $2,500 a pop you can enjoy the show with Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.), Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) or Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.).
