A ballsy retail concept from disruptor xxx, the travelling pop-up <100 shop adopts a ‘pay what you are paid’ policy highlighting gender equality. Those that identify as male pay 100% of the price, those that identify as women pay 76% reflecting the marked 24% difference in wages in Pennsylvania. Work on sale and the supporting events programme is served by unique women makers, artists and entrepreneurs designed to connect and empower local women. Needless to say, all contributors are paid a fair and ‘proper’ wage. Next stop – New Orleans.
