Ending Gender Inequality

Women have made great strides in the workplace, but inequality still persists. On average many women have only made 77 cents to every dollar a man earned (Briton, Mary, 2014) Many women have caught up with men in terms of education.  In the United and other countries women have achieved and surpassed men in the educational realm.  This is not where the problem lays, the problem is in the workforce. Many women are in the same wage gap as when the bill was passed for equality.  Many women work the same type of position as a man but yet the woman still gets underpaid. Many working women tend to continue to work in two jobs , which is one in the work environment and then at home.
